I used to use Firefox but was getting continual issues, buttons and toolbars disappearing

Was finally told to delete and use Chrome, though I dont like that much at moment either although no disappearings yet.
Tried a Firefox re-install also but to no avail.
Maybe in a few months when any issues are sorted

Try clearing your cache by going to Tools > Clear Recent History and be sure that cache is selected.

If that doesnt work, try loading the page in IE to check and make sure it isnt an error on the page itself. If it displays right in IE, then you may need to uninstall and then reinstall firefox.

Try all that, and if it doesnt work, we will go from there.

I see a lot of issues on webpages but that is because I have noscript, adblock, and ghostery installed. Noscript is awesome! Of course, a LOT of webpages are going the easy route and making themselves IE only, which allows for advertisers to bypass all the blocks you can install via FF. IE is a street whore.

This site under my FF won't allow me to post new topics. Weird.

I use firefox+noscript+sandboxie. This site works perfectly for me. The only sites I had to "allow" for this site to work right were "aforumfree.com", "illiweb.com", and "googleapis.com".

There is also an awesome add-on that you can use to in FF to gain the capability to quickly and easily toggle between rendering a page in FF and IE. It is called "IE Tab 2". It allows you to switch a tab between rendering engines without leaving FF (thought the page does have to reload itself for obvious reasons).

When switching from FF to IE engine, it does diable other FF add-ons like noscript however, so be sure tha tthe page is "safe" before you do so.
