Xephod went and jumped in the ocean because... well because Aurora told him to. Unfortunately he neither sank nor swam.

Dwarves do that as well, the neither swimming or sinking thing, not the the doing as told bit. Only gnomes tend to be good little boys and do what their told. Dwarves are bad little men and never do what told
