CD Key codes

Is there any place to get cd key codes? The hard drive in my desktop computer died and I managed to make backup cds of most everything in my NeverwinterNights folder except for the cd key codes. I do not have the actually cds anymore so I am wondering if there's a place to get digital ones?

If you copied the various nwn .ini files, one of them should contain your cd keys (nwncdkey.ini).

If not, the only legal way to get valid cd keys is to purchase a new copy of the game (through gog.com or a physical copy).

I searched all the backup discs and none had the nwncdkey.ini file so I am now creeping along with a download from gog.com, heheh. It would be awesome if my download rate would stay consistent (and more than 20kb/s) heh.

Thanks for your help ! I have wired the hard drive from my dead hp laptop to this desktop computer so I can play but that drive and my Sony laptop has the same cd key codes. I'll put the gog.com download on the main drive of this computer =)

I thought the keys were listed on the nwncdkey.ini files found in the Windows (C:) > NeverwinterNights > NWN section section; not on the disks themselves.

Yes, on the hard drive of a computer. But since I just put a new hard drive in, I was trying to reload my NWN from backup discs I had burned. Unfortunately, that file and a few others were not saved on the backup discs for some reason.

Gotcha; my method, too. I have heard of others transferring files from back-ups and the like, but have no such functionality currently.
