Well, this is new as of today. Chup Moross can't level up. I've tried both of the classes (Sorcerer, Barbarian). I've tried after logging off and back on. I get through the level-up windows, click "OK" and then get the following in the Status window:

"[Server] Character gained too many hit points."

Corrupted player record? I was leveling just fine up to today (he's at 8th level Sorc and 4th level Barb).

Any assistance that would be rendered would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I decided to try to fix Chup with a re-level. Small problem: no Re-level Scales in Chup's inventory. Could one of you guys help me out by adding the Scales for me?

EDIT (ADDITION): a couple things I've noticed with Meldor is there's no server announcement of a level-up (not a problem, as far as I can see), and there was no granting of Legend Lore (or even the lower level Lore) after Ascension and gaining what I believe was the appropriate number of levels.

Did you have any active Effects ongoing (eg; spells, Songs, etc)? Wonder if any temp stuff may be gumming up the works.

nope, none of that good stuff, just decided I didn't really want the dragonsoul lvls I had taken, so used my scales, lvl'd up a few lvl's and then things went wonky

edit: it might have been the head band I forgot to take it off before I hit the scales Shocked

I think it might have to do with the Dragonsoul levels. If the Base HPs didn't get removed from the simulated HP Dice increases, then I think that error would occur.
