Passing on the NWN Legacy
How many people here play NWN with their kids? I know of at least two sets in Aenea.
As of today, this dragon joins the trend.
My oldest son (9 years old) has been bugging me about playing, so I finally purchased NWN for him (thanks, gog.com!) and got him set up on a spare laptop. He started his first character today, a dwarven fighter. He's got to get a hang of the camera controls, but he only died twice in his first seesion (once by a bear, the next by a skeleton warrior). That same bear killed my 3rd level cleric, too, and the skeleton warrior left my bleeding character on the ground while he went after the dwarf.
So, yeah, if you see dragon_son1, be nice...there might be an elder dragon watching over his shoulder.

Yay! I have to admit inter-generational PW gaming sounds like a lot of fun!
I try to be nice to everyone... It's all about the fun, right?
Re: Passing on the NWN Legacy
Woohoo! Welcome to the fun, dragon_son!
It certainly is, odbo255! Very much fun whenever all are able to get on at the same time!odbo255 wrote:Yay! I have to admit inter-generational PW gaming sounds like a lot of fun!

Re: Passing on the NWN Legacy
Just want to say my kid has been having a blast. He's 9, so doesn't know much about roleplaying or online interactions, so thanks to those he's talked to and gotten help from.
Hope he doesn't come across as rude, he's just 9. Like tonight, he was being guided into the giant ant tunnels. I told him it was time for dinner and he pretty much just logged off and ran...I don't think he even took time to explain.

When says it is time to eat; time to eat!
Has he read The Hobbit already? This was my recommended book for a lad his age some years ago.

He did explain why he needed to leave, and he was very polite! You've done a good job, A D.

Plus, he chose to play a Dwarf, which also reveals his good taste!
