Heya, The Amethyst Dragon!

Quick question, Dragon - if your weapon has a crystal of fire already on it and you use a crystal of immolation, will the new property be the one the weapon uses when calculating damage? 1d4 vs 1d6, right?

That's how it should work, yes.  It should also work in reverse...if you already have a crystal of immolation on there and you mistakenly apply a crystal of fire...it goes down to 1d4.

In that case, if you reapplied a crystal of immolation, would the damage jump back up to 1d6? Does it use whatever one is most recent, as opposed to the one that is greater?

Correct.  Most recent should be the one used for the damage property.
