Random death, then random hostility?

Post by Dargodd on Wed Jul 02, 2014 11:37 am

So, when I logged on, I randomly took 1 more damage then max health. Thankfully I stabilized and was okay. Then as I was wondering around all the dogs/cats/commoners were hostile to me.  But no guards, guards were fine with me.

Then I traveled to Calithia to go shopping, and the npc Salizan Umbroson killed me.

No idea what happened to cause any of this stuff. But it really sucks to log in and within 5 minutes to lose 3.5k exp.

*Edit* Also, I don't know if this effects anything. But I now have 2 * Aenea PC Properties *

Wow, that's definitely buggy behavior. As soon as one of us DMs is online, hit us up for refunds of xp and gold.

In the meantime, I'm going to make sure the server gets a reboot to straighten out local variables and current faction settings.

Its okay really. 3.5k exp sucks, but its not a huge setback, only like 45 minutes to an hour. Mainly just wanted to make sure you guys were aware of things.

Also, I still have two of the * Aenea Pc Properties* Is there any way to get rid of one of them, or will the mess up my character? If not, its not a huge deal, I'll be fine losing out on the 4 slots it takes up.

Try using either the PC Anvil (Can't remember the exact name) in the Astral Conjunction to straighten up your character. This will ensure you have the correct Skin applied to your character and should remove any extras you have. If not, there shouldn't be any problem using the Sacrificial Flame item on them (it should work to zap them) and then use the anvil to ensure you have the correct one...

Is there a way to get back to the Astral conjunction without a server reset? I haven't seen a way yet.

Yes.. find a "Mage testing Area" (the only one that comes to mind is towards the back of the magic shop in Calithia).. Leave the area, it should take you back to the Astral...

Or activate a Wanderers Portal to a random place (ie incorrect address).. this will take you to Limbo (with some minor damage? - sorry can't recall the specifics).. wait around for a bit a and a route back to the Astral should appear.... ....

Or pray a DM is on-line and can grab you/ jump you to the Astral... ...

There is also an entrance to the "OOC Spell Testing" area in Bluebeard's tower, in the scroll scribe library. Less of a walk than going through calithia.
