New Subrace

I've been thinking about this for a bit and I think it sounds cool. My only conflict with it is that we already have the Ironheart PrC, which allows one's character to be like a golem. What if there was a subrace that allowed someone to not just be like a golem, but actually be part golem.

I don't know how much sense it would make if one was to be like an elemental type of golem, but, perhaps a character could be part metal, flesh or gem varieties of golem.

EDIT: This came to mind shortly after making this post. There is the Warforged of Eberron which is a race of sentient constructs. Perhaps there is room for something like this in Aenea, as a part-golem type of subrace.

I think it could be cool. There are a bunch of subraces that would be neat to have, but it all boils down to if feels they mesh with Aenea's style and flavor.

Well, if you and I think it's a cool idea, maybe others will too.

Quoting Ironheart page: "[...]devotes his or her time and energies into transforming into a living golem. As time passes, the Ironheart magically replaces pieces of skin and flesh with hardened steel and adamantite."

It seems like Ironheart already does what you suggest. Which I guess would make you a full golem if you took both?

What do you envision it to provide mechanically?
