Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Three disciples of Zolaras putting down (disgustingly bloodless) skeletons in the graveyard
In her mind, Angelica sees the wizard Ignatius as wearing black lipstick. How goth!
A vampire clad in purple armor meets a dragon with purple scales in a forest cave.
Angelica had never seen a dwarf run away so fast.... fast enough to get out of sight before her mental snapshot could be taken of the incident....

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Angelica and Jay Braysin beneath Tarnesha, musing that being a heroic statue might not quite be the same thing as being a heroic shadowchild.
After a little conspiring with the beholders, Angelica enjoys a Jay&Juster fueled lightshow at Deathwater Island.
In a quirk of reality (reality in a fantasy game? whodathunkit?) Angelica hoves over her own corpse, defying death yet again.
A vision of death and blood, the Witch of the Vale comes for the Orc Ravager of Ragnor and the Orc General in the training camp headquarters of Tesh.

Man, those are good!
Have you considered submitting some of those to the Bioware Forums?
I bet you could get them posted (assuming Bioware is still accepting admissions).

No, I haven't. If they are I'm sure I could snap up a few shots like these, but with all the graphic settings up higher. I don't usually have shadows or AA running to keep my framerate playable, and most good shots I take tend to be in the middle of battle.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Yup. I've enjoyed the Soul Reaver games, so when someone put a model of the sword up for NWN, I went ahead and made a soul-eating blade that gets more powerful as you kill more stuff.
In that particular shot, one of the brief game-engine "weapon swing" visuals must have stuck for a bit.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
In the Soul Reaver (More importantly the entire Legacy of Kain Series ) games though the reaver blade has two forms, one a solid material realm bloodsucker for the one champion of {}, the other a ghost-like shadowy soul-sucking wraith blade for the 'champion of {}.... of course play Blood Omen, Soul Reaver 1 & 2 and Defiance through to the end and you find some truely inexplicable truths about the true nature of the blade, its purpose, precisely why and how the blade is so damn important and that great bit about "History Abhors a paradox".... ... yes I love them games too ..
In case you can't be bothered to play them (and I suggest them to any adult gamer).. you can read nearly the full story in..

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
The original game and its sequel were benchmark gaming experiences for me. It would be hard for me to oversell these games.
The sequel's soundtrack (engineered by a former member of Information Society) is some of my favorite gaming music (here, and especially here. at about 2:30).
Getting that damn sword was hard to do...
Edit: I just realized that the original game was made by the last company I did contract work for. Both this game and the one I worked on used Norse runes.

I was going to log on this afternoon to Aenea. Instead, I spent the afternoon going through the above site (and a few others) and watching LoK/SR videos on Youtube.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
Unfortunately, due to timing issues, DM responsibilities, the ISP punting us, ect, these following Gron shots are missing Jay Braysin, and Crideas Bane, both who assisted Angelica in her battle against Gron. Thus, the following picture is bittersweet for Angelica in that neither of them are in this picture:
Later on, still in the Palace, and having a second go at Gron, Angelica gives the emperor a time-out in the closet.... Bad Gron, bad!
Jay Braysin has his fun with the player select tool/rename tool.... and possibly signed his own deathwarrent.

Re: Something Wicked This Way Comes...
With memories that seem to from a whole lifetime ago (which is saying something coming from a long-lived vampire), a reborn Angelica marvels how things still seem the same... such as the thrill of the hunt.
Angelica marvels at the goblin's luck.... Her arrow missed and stuck into it's hat. She would be sure the next arrow landed lower, right between the goblin's beady little eyes.
Another goblin decides to engage Angelica in an archery contest. While rebirth may have dulled her bow skills a great deal, the goblin is still way out of his league.

"Oh, hello there. How lovely to meet you"
"What to do, what to do.... the night is so young!"
Angelica faces off with her opponents....
"A chest full of acid blade doesn't feel so nice, now does it, troll?"
Ducking under a troll's ham-like fist....
Angelica lunges, and cuts the brute off at the knees. Literally!
Angelica demonstrates to the shadowslayer which vampire is the better swordswoman.

I found him in the macedone wizard's guild. No idea how he got there to start with, but his dialogue options worked, so I dragged him to the inn Then I started dragging other NPCs there. If the server auto-reset hadn't kicked in, I woulda dragged even more notable npcs in and given them penguins

While the image is funny, please refrain from using MotM abilities to capture NPCs that have shops (and are not spawned from triggers/encounters). Such NPCs will not respawn in their correct locations for other PCs to interact with until the server resets. Thanks.
