Oh this sucks... Login fubar

I was logged in game for a few moments. Went to switch characters. I keep the "remember password" box checked, so I don't have to enter in my password every time I log in.

Well, I logged in, I logged out to switch characters, and when I go to log in again, I get an error message. "Error: Invalid player name or password".

I re-enter the password. Still get the error. I check an alternate login name I have with the exact same password. I can log in with that name. But I still get the error with my MannyJabrielle login name.

Now when I created the account, I entered in my email address, as the create account button mentions you don't need an email, but it can be useful for password problems.

Here's the real problem though... Where do I -go- to fix up my password? Does anyone know?

Or for that matter, would anyone know why my password would spontaneously -stop- working for no explicable reason at all?

This really sucks.

That can sometimes happen when logging out/in fast. Try shutting down NWN completely and restarting it.

If that doesn't work, try a computer reset.

I think it has something to do with gamespy or the bioware master server not properly recognizing that you've logged out.

Three computer resets, two of them cold boots.

My secondary login works, just not my primary mannyjabrielle name. I'm not getting the cd key still in use error, I'm getting the invalid username or password. I double checked my ini file as well, the password is still listed there correctly. I pasted in a backup of my player.ini from three weeks ago, and still get the password/username invalid error.

If by chance I cannot get into my mannyjabrielle name again, would it be possible to move my characters onto my secondary login?

Well, it's fixed.

I go to log into the bioboards to see if I could find any answers there. I find my password doesn't work there either. Used the reset password function, and click on the the link in the email that popped up, got back onto the boards, posted my message. Go back to my email, and find that there's a second password change email from a half hour earlier saying my password change was confirmed and such.... which was funny since the confirmation was 20 minutes prior to my actual changing of the password.

All my passwords are getting a reset. Methinks someone's trying to haxors me. Feh, losers.

My mannyjabrielle login works since I reset my bioware password too... which is odd, because I didn't know they were linked whatsoever.

The bioware account is linked to your NeverwinterNights1 account as well as any other bioware game you registered it for.
Basically you can be using the same account for different games, bioware allows them to be connected. Makes some sense to me.
