Used: Face for Hoods
When I was online last night playing I realized that my monk, would look just a little better, if his face were to be seen with the hood. I like the all black gives him a sense of mystery, but I think if a face can be seen it would also be good.
I don't know how extensive that would change the game or what not, but it was just a suggestion I had.

Re: Used: Face for Hoods
Hmmm This sounds cool, and you could pan the camera down to look "under the hood"..... but in reality.. thats a lot of work for a modeller... "head" hoods could possibly be changed to include a face, selectable on creation, but then you'd also need to export all the head models out of the .haks and into your overides...and someone would need to create those new models first ...
... hmm... .. "helmet" hoods could possibly be done in a similar fashion to 's circlets, using visual effects... .... but i'm not certain you could get the right shape/size to be universal... ... other then that helmets actually "replace" your head.. and without creating 100's of new helmet models and then finding a waay to find out which head ye be using to don the "correct" hood..... the best option is 's visual effect route...
Anyway, thats just my two cents..... good idea though... !

Re: Used: Face for Hoods
would be cool as heck if it could be done, and rusty is on the right track here i think with pondering the best route being the amazing workaround of using visual effects that developed for the circlets...
I am sure if he likes the idea, he will get around to it in time. Just be patient, and I am confident he will let us all know whats up. If it is not an option, he will tell us why

Re: Used: Face for Hoods
VFX versions have been on my list since before I started work on the circlets and lenses.
I just need to improve my model-manipulation skills first (or find a skilled model maker, which I've posted about on the Vault and BioWare boards).
