Elemental DR
Seeing as 24 HD Elder Elementals all have DR in tabletop, they should have it in NWN... or at least in Aenea.
I believe at least the water elemental *does* have DR... the earth elemental should have the highest of all.
Heck, even the Crag's Stone form spell gives DR, Im 99.99% positive.
High HD elementals with no DR just dont make sense.

Re: Elemental DR
DR is apparent in high level elementals, but in small amounts. Also, elementals also often have an immunity or resistance to certain elements. Water elementals should have a minor immunity to cold and fire by a percentage, fire elementals should have fire immunity but cold weakness, and other things with common sense.
I think it would make sense for the elementals to have 1, 2, and 3 points damage reduction based on size, with 1 being for medium elementals, and the increase being for higher. This can be done with the EPIC Barbarian Reduction feats, which give 1, 2, 3 increase in damage reduction.

The link above shows that *all* elder elementals have DR 10/- at a minimum.
Scroll down the page and you will find a link in the "E" section to all the other types of elementals.

Re: Elemental DR
After experimenting with the new golems on iggy..i gotta say that compared to the standard ones from nwn and bioware...the new ones are horridly weak.
My old elementals could handle the mummies in mummyland with relative ease. Which was appropriate considering they had like i think 5 levels on em. Now....the mummy lords rape my fire elemental which when you think bout it..mummies are very vulnerable to fire.
Not a complaint mind you...just a small disappointment considering that as a mage...i used my pets as my tank when i solo'd and travelled alone. Now...i just use my mummy dust guy instead and dont even bother summoning an elemental
I love the new models for fire though..was gonna suggest those as they look much more like fire then the magma lookin things bioware made for the fire elem. I presume air and water are also using the new cep ones?
