I look ridiculous in my archer's gear.
I really should make my helmet useful...

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
I think it's a great look actually. Reminds me of the Master of the Wild Hunt from the celtic mythology. The Master of the wild hunt was a force for good who hunted down evil with a pack of wolves, and he wore a great antlered helm.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
I was thinking more of the fact that my entire leg is clipping through the kilt, I'm only partway cheering, and my bow is tiny.
When I finally get the Last Hope together and gather an army to defeat Gron, I want to actually be able to do damage, and hopefully even use my primary kit to do it.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
if you want to keep the kilt, there are some tight-parts that match the kilt in color and look. they will still clip through, but it won't be noticed that much. using an empty tight model isn't advisable, since that looks odd, once the knees float freely beside the kilt

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
I have armor, the kilt is just what I wear when I'm resting, or in this case, when I need a dexterity boost.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
i know
but that's no reason not to improve the kilt look, isn't it?

I already suggested to that the bonus damage on orcfell arrows be changed to magical... that will make them actually worthwhile against Gron.... or anything else.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
I was actually surprised when we weren't touching him... A +4 bow firing arrows doing 3d6+4 did nothing.
I have a screenshot, but I don't know how to convert it to something I can put on the forum. NWN takes screenies in a very silly format.

His DR is high enough where not just anyone can touch him.
Or rather, anyone can, but you need the right gear (the sword itself is good, but there's other gear that can punch through as well, which is good since not every character has the proficiency required to equip the sword to start with.)

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
Main problem is, the in-game stuff that can hurt him is all basically melee stuff.... and melee is suicide if you dont have insane AC or crit immunity or both....
Ranged fighters are just screwed, at least until orcfell arrows, bolts, and bullets do magical bonus damage
Course, Arcane Archers can hammer him pretty good.... especially if they have 20+ caster levels and can get a Bigby's Crushing hand to hit and grapple him.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
When I hit him with Angelica (AA at the time), the hardest part about going at it with the bow was the AoO's. NWN really needs the front-line archer feat :-o

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
Did it in my own kit, and I actually hurt him. I guess I didn't need as much time to build up as I thought.
EDIT: Well, most of my own kit. Crideas, I still have your tower.

Re: Viva Beuttleria!!!
The one thing you can't see in this screen shot is Crideas had brought Vorshy along for the ride so as soon as he dropped hellball and Killed Gron ,Vorshy turned on us. From one epic battle to another

True.
But he -is- immune to critical hits, so he helped me with the tanking.
