Really stupid problem, but I am asking anyways....
First off, let me say that I know this is a ridiculous problem to have.
That said... I need advice on what to do about it.
The sheets on my bed will not stay on. I bought a mattress pad thinking it might help
anchor them. No joy.
I checked to make sure they are the right size (they are).
If it was only once in a while when I have a bad night and toss and turn, I could live with
it... but it happens pretty much every night. I fix the sheets, tuck em in nice nice,
wake up and theyre messed up. Im getting pretty fed up with it. This is the only
mattress I have ever had that the sheets refuse to stay on.
Now... when you're all done laughing.... I am hoping somebody will have an idea
to help me.... cuz I am seriously considering getting suspenders for my mattress.

Re: Really stupid problem, but I am asking anyways....
There are clip-on elastic strap things you can buy for this problem. Should come 4 in a pack (one for each corner). They're short, designed only to help the sheet corners stay in place by better wrapping around the bottom of the mattress corner.
I haven't used them myself, but I've seen them before in stores.
Is your mattress one of those pillow-top ones? Those are thicker, and sheets that are supposed to be the right size for your mattress are actually designed for one that's 3-6 inches thinner.

I've seen big packages of that weird plastic grippy stuff at Target, for putting under rugs that keep getting kicked all over the place on the floor. Maybe one of those rug holder in placer thingies will hold your sheets in place all around?

You could always try buying sheets that are too big and just wrapping them completely under your matress, failing that learn how to do "hospital corners" with your sheet, the method is designed to hold sheets (and blankets) in one place regardless of the movement on top ....

Hospital corners work very well. The sheet size vs pillowtopped mattress is a good thing to check too, they're a pain with fiited sheets.

Now that I look at it, it has a sort of wierd extra layer to it, sort of pillow toppish, I guess?
Its definitely thicker than a normal one.... that must be the issue....
So it looks like probably the elastic corner suspenders thingies.... what store did you see them in?
Or do you possibly know the name so I can google it?
Also... thanks for not ridiculing me for this.... plenty of other excuses to do that for, anyhow

Hehe, dunno about the others, but I'm not juvenile, I'm just a jerk. i'll pick on you in ways that take some brain juice to amuse myself
You could probably find those elastic things at any home goods store. Bed bath and beyond, Homegoods, linens&things, ect.

That's why I love this place! You guys are the best! Dave solves our computer problems, and we solve his sheet problems! (Well, I mean "we" in the vague forum group-think sense of the word, as I had no input in this, other than to "true that" to 's plastic connectors comment!)

As it did me when I first laid eyes upon it.... it is a special sort of disturbing.... to even concieve that a being as hapless as Mr. Bean could control the force in any way, let alone use the Dark Side... and have a lightsaber.... *shudder*.
Its funny as hell

I've gotta say, it's extra special for me; my old company commander from when I was with the military police was an assistant principal for some junior high school, and he happened to be a dead look-alike for Rowan Atkinson. Unfortunately, the captain wasn't quite as well coordinated as Mr. Bean, and many references were also made to him being C-3PO dressed up as Robocop
