Problems with my Nwn

Lately I been having some slight issues with my Nwn. While I play my screen sometimes freezes every 10-20 secs for as long as a half to a full second or more. Extremely annoying.

At first I thought it was because I was using Nwshader and new tilesets override. So I uninstalled Nwshader and reverted back to an empty override folder. But it still happens. I haven't changed any video settings. I watched my FPS and it was at 160 or more, but when the game freezed it dropped all the way down to 3 fps. So that lead me to believe maybe a HDD problem. I ran error checking and no errors. So I did some benchmark tests with the HDD that houses my Nwn installation and my latest HDD I've purchased. In the end, the Nwn HDD is 1ms slower. Seems normal enough.

So in short, I have no clue why the game is acting like that. It seems like the game freezes when it loads new objects or something. When I move around it happens frequently. But it even still happens when my character just stands there doing nothing.

Not a computer expert by a long shot, so I'll leave this to folks that know more than I.

It's the living sky stuff. It started doing this for me and a few others a few days/a week ago. You'll notice that the laggitylag happens in outdoor areas. Turn off your skyboxes and it'll stop.

Was anything changed regarding the living sky stuff that would cause a new issue like this? It worked fine before...

mentioned a tweak to it right before it started happening. ALready posted a bug report about it in the bugs forum

Thanks for the report. I guess I'll have to go back to the old way of adding clouds. I didn't think SetSkybox() would cause issues like this.
