Um, what? My login experience.
Logged in to Aenea, had less than 3 gigs freespace on harddrive.
Noticed odd green stripes. Noticed database book in inventory vanished when entered sleeping dragon inn.
Noticed game crash, followed by computer crash. Gained about 2 gigs free space...
What in the name of what in the name happenned?

Re: Um, what? My login experience.
Sure sounds like something not directly related to NWN.
I would see what your brother Sean can do with your machine, ASAP.
If you already have important files and data backed up, it might be time to totally wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows and NWN. If that doesnt fix your issue, then you are most likely dealing with some hardware that is in the process of failing.

Re: Um, what? My login experience.
Computers no longer crashing, NWN is no longer crashing, I did a thourough check on my computer, got rid of some stuff and updated various other things.
My onlt problem appears to be playing NWN right now. The graphics keep acting all buggy regardless of what I do. This is also effecting the text.
These problems do not seem to effect any other games, or programs.
Any advice? I can login no trouble, but I don't want to be a hindrance when playing with everyone...

Re: Um, what? My login experience.
Possibly your video settings in NWN.
First thing is try turning them all the way down, and turning off any special effects (shiny water, moving grass, etc).
It might also be related to the resolution you are playing at. Try the set the game's video resolution to your monitors "native" resolution. This "native" resolution is usually what windows sets your default desktop resolution to, which you can find in your windows display properties (right click on an empty spot on your desktop, and then left click on poperties to bring up the display poperties window. Then click on the advanced tab to see your resolution and color settings).
Is your video driver up to date?
If that doesnt help, I believe, Grundail, or someone else found that there was one setting that actually helped to have turned on. its in the tech support section, related to crashing I think.
