Ancient Dragon Blood?

I can't seem to get the Ancient variety of dragons to drop blood at all. Both the Black and Red ones that I can find haven't dropped any for quite some time, and I'd expect them to drop them more than lesser 'aged' dragons...

Considering that it did finally drop after a very long time.... can I suggest either a guaranteed drop or a much higher chance to dropblood from Ancient dragons?

Well... I finally got an Ancient Black to drop blood... and I've killed some 10 or so to get just 5 vials (of which I've gathered easily 10 from a similar 15 Old Blacks)

So, can we get this moved to the suggestion board?

Just 5 vials?

When I killed dragons for the first time after not playing for a few months I was utterly shocked to see how much blood is dropped. I use to have to hunt and kill all the dragons on the server just to get the amount I found on just one dead dragon.

In my opinion I think it should be decreased for the rest and not increased. Before they were super rare, but now it's the opposite. Now it is one of the easiest items to obtain for the dwarf/maker requests and reduces the vampire challenge quite a bit.

I'm simply stating this in relation to the younger types.

While I can see the argument on the dwarf/maker requests, the fact of the matter is that Vampires have it hard enough as it is; they don't need any further penalties.

Well I don't really mean lessening it like it was, but it seems like this:

Kill a dragon--nothing, Kill a dragon--nothing, kill a dragon--5 vials, kill a dragon--nothing, kill a dragon--4 vials...etc.

I think it should be just a small/medium chance to drop one vial, not a small chance to drop a bunch of vials.

But then again in the long run you'll probably end up with the same amount of vials after a slaughter fest.

My 2 cents, dragon blood isnt hard to get in small amounts from smaller dragons.... but while the big dragons can drop a lot, they do so rarely.

I think the smaller dragons are fine how they are... but the Larger dragons should have a better chance to drop the blood, even if the amount is slightly reduced.

Bumping this one after a brief convo in game with someone and talking about dragon blood drops....

Example, I'll go into the temple of teeth, kill all the dragons in there. Once in a while I'll walk out with 20 bloods... 7 from the ancient, 3 or 4 from each of the olds, 1 or 2 from the younger ones.

Most of the time, I'll walk out with maybe 3 or 4 total, or a good portion of the time... not a single vial.

I think that when you kill an ancient dragon that the size of a house.. you should be guaranteed at the very least a single vial of blood, if not a couple. That house sized dragon has gallons of the stuff pumping through him...
