Resting
I noticed that when I leveled up to 7 i was having to wait 8 hours before resting again. Is this correct? I keep track of the times, being rather lower level, and those 4 hours are valuable. I was in the caves in the graveyard when i noticed this issue. I had rested at 0 hour and then after several battles, I attempted to rest again and it said that I needed to wait 4 hours before resting again, 6 hours had elapsed. This has happened at different hours as well.

Re: Resting
mastersuntzu,
I believe that as you level up, you need to rest longer (as you've discovered). I could be wrong, of course, but I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. I'm also pretty sure that Amethyst will wander through at some point and clarify this issue for you!
Oh, hey, welcome to Aenea! Is it treating you well? We're happy to have you, and hope you'll stay awhile!

Re: Resting
Thanks for the quick reply. I really do enjoy this PW. It's alot of fun, challenging and rewarding. Sometimes, when coming from different servers, you have an expectation for the next world you attempt to live in. I came from high magic and quick leveling, man is this TOUGH. I am learning a new way to game. The only thing that is hard to get used to is soloing. I am so used to party adventures, but like I said, I am learning a new way to game. I'll be here for some time I am sure of that. I already am beginning a third character as we speak...see ya in the world.

Re: Resting
Rest wait times:
Level 2-3... no wait
Level 4-6... 4 game hours (about 8-10 real minutes)
Level 7+... 8 game hours (about 16-18 real minutes)

mastersuntzu,
Something that I always forget when I play here is that Aenea is HCR! I always remember, of course, when a bullette wanders up and stomps my arse! Fun HCR but HCR nonetheless!

Re: Resting
I don't actually use the Hard Core Ruleset.
The game is on the D&D Hardcore difficulty setting (which means both PCs and monsters/NPCs do normal damage, and PCs and allies can get hit by their Area of Effect spells (like fireball)).
Except for the treasure system, all the resting stuff and other non-standard NWN systems were coded for Aenea by your friendly neighborhood purple dragon.
