Small Additional Quest Rewards

While replaying a lowbie, I discovered there are a few of the common items in the game that we may tend to take for granted (eg; harvesting tool, shovel, etc) from playing wealthier characters. As the harvester tool is required to gather food in the fields, orchards, and bushes ideally available to any commoner, perhaps adding such a tool to rewards gained from the local farming community might be in line.

For example, one of the farmers that has a sick wife might give a harvesting tool along with any current reward, and another farmer quest could grant a shovel or other useful implement.

Or lower the prices on such common tools?

I agree 100%... lower prices or make them easy to get thru small easy quests.

heh! I was going to gather some blackberries this morning for my new PC, and as I arrived at a small grove, I realized that I was undersupplied. If I had such a problem, new players unfamiliar with the food system could become discouraged. Just a thought....
