Great idea to have this available to allow folks to get to other towns without getting murdered by unlucky spawns.

Would be nice to have the Caravans leave twice a day. Sitting around waiting for more than half an in-game day is a real bummer. Sure, you could leave and do other stuff... and then probably end up missing the Caravan.

Would also be better if lowbies could afford the service, as that is primaily who would benefit from it. 500gp is a very large sum for a PC who is just starting, and seems exorbitant for a one-way trip to Macedone. I would suggest something like 100gp at most.

Lastly, having a caravan route to Tradeholm would be a huge benefit. Maybe twice as expensive as the trip to Macedone.

Oh and a few chairs and benches inside the waiting room for folks to use and sit on would be good for RP while waiting.

I'd drop that gp value to 50 for Macedone and 100 for Tradeholm ... again, it's a service that would most benefit the low-level PCs, and why penalize them for being low-level?

Sure, I would love 50gp for Macedone and 100gp for Tradeholm Smile

I think that would be fantastic.

Also, I need to test it again, but I think the actual caravan transport inside the wagon area may be crashing the server.... cuz I had *just* gotten tranposted inside the wagon and then the server lagged and disconnected me.

Edit: Seems like the crash was just a coincidence.

The other thing I like to think of in this as well.. the caravan surely transports "the general populace" of Aenea ... (ie all them NPC's and not just us adventurers) .... so they should be able to afford this service too ... okay, the posh, well off ones should be able, peasant folk should just walk ....

More frequent runs would be great, as well as more destinations.

Even a chance of bandit attacks along the way like there is a chance for pirate attacks when sailing. Not every time, but every once in a blue moon to toss in some excitement (and if the PC is low level, rather than being forced to fight as they would on the ship, they can hightail it away from the caravan)

There's a couple areas along the various routes that would be great for this. The road just to the east of the MtHolmes crossroad, that area where the purple worm appears for the route to tradeholm/ebonhall, and a couple of decent spots in the desert for the calithia route.

oh, and inside the waiting area... that would be a great place for more of those animated slot machines like in the Fishhead's tavern in macedone!

This might be a good place to find NPC marks to be manipulated or pickpocketted by PC Rogues, too; maybe even a possible highwayman, but with possible reprocussions.
