Short and sweet - how about a bag merchant? For bags with different names so those of us who like to ocd with our inventory can keep better track of which bag is what. they wouldn't have to use the single-item-inside script that you're whipping up - just have a different name. Or perhaps a bag merchant who can change the name of your standard bags to whatever you wish - a vc chat interface would rock for this, wouldn't it?

I second this here idea! I myself am a bit ocd when it comes to organizing my gear and loot, so I think this would be fabulous.

There is a bag merchant just outside Mountainholm Castle. I'll add a few more around the world.

I'm actually scripting a way for PCs to rename most items in their inventory if they wish to. It will involve a combination of the VC system and a new Player Tool feat (which will be added to your PC automatically after the hak change on Friday). Some items you won't be able to rename, but most you will have the freedom to play around with.

That will be awesome - I SO look forward to being able to tell at a glance which bag I stuffed my healing potions into! That might even save a trip or two to the great hall!

As far as the gem pouches recognizing/storing only gems, will that go to other bags as well (the glove pouch, I suppose, is the other specialized container that immediately comes to mind)? Will the merchants have specific bags aimed at carrying specific things, or will it just be a generic bag/ bag of holding that is renamed at the player's whim?

What can I say, I like bags!

There are currently 3 (4 soon) that are limited in their contents:
Gem Pouch
Glove Pouch
Food Pouch
Belt of Vials (for potions only, coming soon)

The others would be up to players to rename if they want, but wouldn't actually limit what's in them, since they'd just be normal containers.
