Hey, y'all!

Anyone know if crafting poison is available in-game? If so, does it take the form of a tradeskill, or is it feat related?

Sorry, but I don't have time to research this right now (had to claw to get abe off the pc for a few minutes - damn minecraft!) ...

any info is greatly appreciated.

Not in yet. It will be part of an alchemy tradeskill once I dedicate some time to that aspect.

Craft poisons by alchemy, yes!

I only hope that my high-level ranger/rogue already has the attributes/skills that you'll be using for the craft check, as I've always played her everywhere as very skilled in the art of poisons.

Ooooh! Will it encompass the existing poisons, or will there be options to make crazy new poisons, or combine poisons to make new ones? I had another poison-related question, but it has slipped by the wayside ...

Generally speaking, when new options are added to Aenean that require specific feats or skill ranks (or other build related concerns) we are pretty accomodating about allowing existing PCs a chance to re-level and make the alterations required to take advantage of the new content.

Excellent, thanks for that info Dave, rebuilding would of course be helpful.

But instead of using an INT check for Alchemy, or some NWN skill, perhaps The Amethyst Dragon will make it an extension of the Aenean Herbalism Tradeskill, where it's only accumulation of experience that matters.

From what I understand Alchemy will work alot like Herbalism, in that it will be a new tradeskill....

So you likely won't need to re-level or get any special skillpoints/feats... the tradeskills are open to all classes and races if one wants to put the time into getting them ... they only require "minor" items, time and experience.... ..
