Another server question (a question about another server, that is).

So I know that it's kinda taboo to talk about other servers on the forum, but I figure that this one is so far from Aenea's content that it'll be no competition. Doesn't this look helluva cool, though? I'm considering DLing the paks and giving it a spin, as I'm on a Star Wars kick lately! What say ye?

I wont be checking that out for a looong time (probably not until it at least gets to Beta, probably later) but it is definitely now on my list for perusal at some point.

I registered at their forum so that I could see more of what this is about.

After looking through the forum for a while, it looks very interesting, but not a lot of information on the custom mechanics and classes like I always like to peruse before committing to getting the files and creating a character, and what exists seems rather scattered about.

(Written by a 'plumjuice', which as it's a rather unique handle, might could be the same as the player here.) Also, Current Force User Guideline. You might have to register to get these links to work.

I still haven't yet figured out if leveling in Force User means taking levels in a separate class or is some semi-class that doesn't affect standard class levels. Only Bard (Entertainer), Scout (Ranger), Soldier (Fighter) and Scoundrel (Rogue) can be chosen at character gen. So I speculate whether Force User means being allowed to take a mage class, and therefore you need to take that into account in the build. This concerns me before character creation because my build would naturally tend to be Ranger/Rogue/SD, using up the NWN1 max three classes, and I'd have to plan something else entirely if a mage class had to be included for Force use.

I'd been interested in a Star Wars PW for NWN since a long time now, and this one looks like it may finally tempt me in. The creator says that most all of the content is newly originated, and from what trailers and pics I could find, looks really neat.
