Terrifying rage
Hi,
I have a question about T-rage and how he is realy working
My char is 25barb/1sor/10DS-White
intimidate 39 base (-2 char mod = 37)
on wiki is that:
While the barbarian is raging, any enemy (with less than the barbarian's hit dice) that comes close to him must make a will save opposed by the barbarian's intimidate check or become panicked for 1d3 rounds. Opponents with up to twice the barbarian's hit dice will not flee but will receive a -2 penalty to attack and saving throw rolls. Creatures with more than at least twice the barbarian's hit dice are not affected by the rage.
also:
"Barbarian's hit dice" means total character levels,, for me it is 36
"Opposed by the barbarian's intimidate check" means "DC is barbarian's intimidate skill + 1d10",, for me 37+ 1d10
The saving throw is bugged as it will cause those immune to fear to automatically fail the save (without a roll) = is this fixed?
this is also on wiki:
Beholders HD is 11
Beholder Mages HD is 21
Elder Beholders HD is ???
so:
I should be able to paralize Beholders and Beholder Mages
or:
(I am something missing and its lik that)
creatures with hd<12 (11,10, ...) get panicked = paralized -> Beholder
creatures with 12<=hd<24 (12-23) get -2 to attack and saving throws -> Beholder Mage
creatures with hd>=24 (24,25, ...) are imune -> Elder Beholder
Is there something that I am missing?
Thank you for your advices

Re: Terrifying rage
At a brief glance, Beholders have a fairly high Will ST, plus perm Freedom. If TR is counted as paralysis, then Freedom is auto-Immune, I believe.

Re: Terrifying rage
Beholders are immune to paralysis, so Terrifying Rage (the "frozen in fear" part) won't work on them.
I'm modifying the script right now so that it applies the "shaken" effects at the same time as the paralysis, so they can still be affected a little.
I'm also going to try to fix the saving throw vs. fear so that immunity doesn't mean automatic failure.
