identifying items Empty identifying items

Post by meaglyn Tue Jun 25, 2013 10:29 am

Hi
I don't know if this is something I can get help with or not. I've now collected three items which I can't get identified anywhere I've found. I'm not a spellcaster at all and have never had 5000 gold pieces to drop. (Also it seems odd to me that the NPCs who identify items still charge me 125 gold each time they fail. In the real world I'd never stand for that.) My character is pretty weak so I can't really carry this stuff around and really could use the gold if they are worth something.

thanks!

Another player can likely help you out.  We're having a bit of a lull in players this summer, but if you see a higher-level toon in the list when you log on, just give them a Tell and ask.  I myself have a friendly ranger, Ramana, who's always keen to help.

What's your character name and when might you be in game?

Steel. Elisa Steel. Cue the james bond theme...  I may be on tonight. I'll try asking if I can find someone. Haven't seen that many. Someone asked me for identifying help last night actually. Not much I could do...

Thanks!

Time Zone?  Don't know what 'tonight' means without that!  You can also put that in your profile info that shows under your forum pic.  I'm in US Eastern Time zone, myself.

My gaming time is very sporadic and unpredictable this summer, as it's my work season.  But I'll be around for about an hour right now, if you have a chance to pop in.  I'll be playing either Ramana or Ranara.

Don't despair, we'll get you sorted somehow!

Same as yours Wink

But fair enough. My playing tends to be sporadic as well. Can't get there now, but thanks for the offer.

I'm EST, too, but my time is sporadic as well, more after 9:00pm than anything.  As Ramana said, we'll get you sorted out.

I'll be online (off and on afk) tonight.  If you see Madara Dreamwatcher online (my smartest magicky character) and I don't respond to a tell, you can try to page me with an audible cue to try to get my attention: ;;page amethystdragon
