Custom Item Question: Cestus

Can we request Cest...ii (i guess that'd be the plural) as custom items yet? The info thread for it said "not yet", four years ago, so I wonder if that stance has, ah, changed.

Sure.  Go ahead.

If making a custom one though, please pick the one that's correct for your character's gender.  There's actually separate item types for male and female (due to weapon scaling issues).

Adding to this: When I try to make cestus..es? in the toolset, they don't appear unless I use one of the visual effects in the appearance menu. Is there a way around that? I don't really Want a visual effect.

That is odd.  It's been years since I even edited one of those in the toolset, so I likely just didn't remember that.

You can make them without a visual effect.  I would suggest creating one with a visual effect so you can see it in the toolset (bottom part 1 color 4 doesn't interfere much with the look while working), then switch the bottom part out for part 1 color 0 (no VFX) when done.
