Not Used: Aw, it's so ... tiny! (crossbow suggestion)

A question for ya - ya know how the drow and other shady assassin-types typically had a little hand-held crossbow to make use of - how possible would that be?  Would the multiple works for it be too overwhelming, or is there a chance that our drow/assassins/drow assassins could use a classic tool of PnP?

The hand crossbow, while a classic drow weapon, wouldn't work very well for NWN.  It wouldn't animate correctly (shooting with one hand doesn't work, and holding a hand crossbow like a regular crossbow would look silly).

Drow do already have their own light crossbow, though.  It looks like the bow is made from two metallic green double-headed cobras.

Yes, indeed, that crossbow is quite a prize! I recall searching diligently for one shortly before the interwebs went blah.

Thanks for the speedy answer! I imagine those drow/assassins/drow assassins can comfort themselves with the throwing knives!
