Blade and page...

Hi, all!

Has anyone discovered what in the sam hill the sword blade and the ancient page are for? You know, the ones found in the bottomest level of the cave in Valorian's Vale? Past the orcs? And the skeletons?

Anyone?

So, daveyeisley, did you ever find out what those items are for?

I'm still dying to know!

I am currently awaiting results from some long term divinations... it seems there is no immediately obvious use for them... but that does not mean they have no use. I continue my research.

Again Crideas would be using spells like "Contact other plane" and multiple successive castings of "Legend Lore" in order to glean facts and cross reference data to draw reasonable conclusions.

I am willing to "spend xp" on this to keep the pen and paper "feel" of the divination spells intact here, if Amethyst is willing to drop us some hints.

Those two items are part of a set, that when collected and brought to the right place, can be turned into something else.

Would the divinations reveal clues as to the locations or at least the nature of the other parts to the set? or maybe even just how many there are?

You're not being forgetful. The other parts are widely scattered across Aenea. I won't tell you where, but you might want to check with the elven wizard in the grove near Valorian's Vale every once in a while. If you have all of the parts (you may not realize it), she'll let you know.

I assumethey must be in my inventory and bags, they cannot be in my ethereal chest?

Correct. Stuff in an Ethereal Chest is stored "elsewhere" and the game does not consider it "your's" unless you are actually carrying it in your inventory (or in containers in your inventory).
