Why it pays to invest in appraisal.
It took a looong while to stuff my inventory that full! 99% of it is stacked. Only on the last inventory tab are there a few unstacked items. If you can't make out the numbers in the bottom, that's 777,777gp gold before selling, 73 appraisal (buffed), and 2,094,834gp after selling.
Two of you who came by while I was selling said it made you depressed.... don't be depressed. Keep in mind Al's a very high level character.... so rather, take this as what you can look forward too when you get high levels
Keep on your appraisal skills. Use those trader's aid books, and keep a potion/scroll of fox's cunning available when you go to sell stuff. Before you know it, you'll be the ones doubling or even trippling my numbers

Or, dont worry about appraisal so much, and just ask Al to sell things for you. It will give him something to do, keep him busy as it were.
Otherwise he will drink, and there will be shenanigans.
