Used: Like they do over on Q ...

Hey, all!

I was over on Project Q's forums the other day, and I was particularly struck by their Welcome Center. What it is, is whenever a new member registers on the forum, they get a welcome message specifically for them in this little sub-forum. I thought that is a particularly cool idea, so was wondering if anyone else felt the same way? Would something like that be cool here?

It's ok. I looked at the welcome center section once when I first registered there, but since then I just ignore it. For me, all the interesting stuff there is in the showcase and work in progress sections.

I'm just thinking along the lines of an individual welcome to each registered player, instead of waiting for a threadpost from them.

Well, that I can do. Now, newly registered people should get a welcoming private message.

Well, thank you, ! I didn't mean to top another thing on yer pile of things to do, I figured that with a subforum, it would be something that I or any other aDM could do. In any case, I think it makes a nice little gesture to the new registerer!
