Journal Persistant? Empty Journal Persistant?

I put pins on the mini-map to help me find things again, but the maps become unexplored and the pins cleared when the server resets. I was wondering if the player notes section of the journal (off the top of my head, it's the third tab) persists between server resets?

I don't want to go filling it all up with important info I can't forget if it's just going to get wiped out after a reset.

Yes, journal will last between resets. that tab of your journal is actually saved in a text file on your PC, not the server.
