Partially Used: Fishhead's Oil Quest Reward

Would it be possible to alter the reward script for this quest to add a check for the feat small stature, and if the PC has it to make the reward a club instead of a quarterstaff? I'm pretty sure there's even a club appearance to make it look more or less like a cane. It's a fantastic item, but gnomes and halflings aren't big enough to use it .

same with the mysterious spear from somewhere in the graveyard

Yes. I would also enjoy it very much if this quite nice walking stick came in a size suitable for us gnomes and halflings. I should like to have such a very nice walking stick for my travels, but it's twice as big as me!

Agreed, I would love to see options for smaller races to gain smaller weapons.... these two quests grant two of the more powerful weapons in Aenea... Im not really seeing any reason small statured races should be out of luck with them.

Gnomes and halflings deserve to benefit from those items too!

My idea, magic staff could replace quarterstaff, just use a dull looking appearence, it has medium size weapon properties so halflings and gnomes would use it as a two-handed item like normal, while dealing same damage and criticals and type (blunt).

My idea for spear... I'm not entirely sure what would work sadly, no weapons of medium size that have same damage and critical and damage type (piercing).

I would avoid the magical staff idea simply because it means no feats can be invested to improve skill with the item.

That makes it useless for classes like fighters and weaponmasters whose power revolves around investing feats in their chosen weapon type.

I would recommend either making the quest give a choice of quarterstaff or club, or simply shift from quarterstaff to club, aka the old school shillelagh!

Spear could be either spear or Short sword, or just short sword.

Maybe instead of short sword the spear could be spear or dagger? That way it would still be a simple weapon and usable by more classes.

Starting with the next reset, Nethos will give a smaller "walking stick" to halflings and gnomes.

The spear will stay the same. Not every item in the game can be used by every character.
