Heh, I know Im an old bastard by some standards.... but when that Rick Astley song came out, compared to the other music of the time.... it was actually very good... catchy... and ya had to love a skinny whiteboy that could sing like a soul brotha 
I liked it a lot... I sorta still do...
And no, I am not effeminate by nature, and I prefer heavy metal to pop music.

Have not yielded to hitting those links yet, but I nominate 'Ring My Bell' (artist unknown from mid-70's to early 80's), or 'Someone's Knocking On the Door' by Wings.
The latter one is more disappointment from the ones that brought me 'Live and Let Die'; the former is just water torture: drip... drip... drip... etc.
