Used: New Player Welcome Wagon

This is to make a formal request of the suggestion I made in game.

Somewhere on the forums, there is fairly recent thread discussing what was acceptable (and not) as gifts and aid to new Players and PC's. My suggestion is that and the Staff put together a kit, or several assorted ones comprised of the valid items, and make these available for purchase to all who wish to help newcomers. Sure newbies could purchase them for themselves, but most will not have the funds to do so which is why we were having the former dialogue in the first place.

Maybe one, or each Vale vendor could have such items?

After the next planned reset (after I fix a missing script in the module), a certain gnome family will sell a small "adventurer's pack" from their wagon at a crossroads.

The pack will be a convenient packaging of different items that come in handy for new adventurers...

cloak (for keeping back winter's chill)
healer's kit (for multiple healing opportunities)
99 bronze tipped bolts (for use against distant enemies)
99 bronze tipped arrows (for use against distant enemies)
99 bronze inlaid bullets (for use against distant enemies)
raise dead scroll (for using on someone else or having someone use on the adventurer)
zolaras' gift (for when nobody else is around)
potion of escape (for when someone just needs to get away)
blood (just in case the adventurer ends up being a vampire)
trail bisquits (for use as a coaster when downing an ale at the local inn)

hehe! Sounds good... except the blood... but we must be open-minded about our nocturnal newcomers too!
