Custom Content Recommendations from the NwN Vault - 'Hyper-Gore Revised Edition'

Hey there!

I'm a huge fan of the blood and gore (have my violence settings cranked all the way up), so I stumbled over this older package and was like "Wow!" Being able to keep the gore around, and even sometimes hack up the corpses - yes, this is bliss! Now, some folks posted that there were issues with this HGRE running on PWs, but I haven't seen anything too dramatic - some of the gore still fades away, and some corpses do not remain, but that in no way decreases my enjoyment of the package!

When you say that some corpses do not remain...

Do you mean to say that the loot fades? Or corpses that would normally persist sometimes fade with this package?

As you know, most corpses will fade automatically in 5 second. So I am wondering what you meant, is all

I think he means that when a corpse has no loot in its inventory the game makes it fade away to save on resources. Having persistent corpes is cool....however each corpse remaining is one more resources the game has to keep track of thru its built in heartbeat.

Having 30 bodies laying around would drive it nuts trying to keep up and cause lag. Additionally...if noone bothered to loot the 5 gold and bone wand off it...it would never go away...littering the whole mod up with lag inducing bodies.

I just tested it out, and no it only affects what you see. It leaves a graphical effect on the ground (on your computer) until you leave the area. Even when the normal bodies vanish, these "body parts" remain where they are.

Right...thats if you just install it on your end...but if installed it on the mod on his end..then yes we would all see it....and thats where the lag comes in as his machine tries to process it all.

If you use it as an override on your end....then no issues with it

Actually rough breakdown of Rusty's PC shows 5% OS, 10% Artwork, 15% Photos (And other Wife-monster "Virus" files ~ trust me sooner or later wifejunk infects every PC! ), 20% Other Programs, 40% NWN "Dedicated Space", Approx 10% "free" (likely to be soon taken over by the "wifejunk virus").... ... .... ...

Do you have to delete the browsing history too?

Firefox > Tools > "Start Private Browsing" option. :-)

Firefox needs a new plugin... the "Fool the wifemonster" plugin. It replaces your browser history with websites approved by the wifemonster.... instead of PhylickandhisponyXXX.org, the history would show bedbathandbeyond.com or such
