Partially Used: Spell Sequencer/Spell Trigger

Just wondering how difficult it would be to get the names of the spells stored in a spell
sequencer or spell trigger (when it gets finished) to display on mouseover, or maybe in
the item description somehow. Would make life easier rather than if one does't recall the
last saved spells, having to fire the sucker and then wait to rest in order to recharge it or
change the spells in it.

The journal is your friend

Well, just remembering works too.... or remembering to write the changes into the journal even...

Failing that, cuz you know it will happen, having the item tell you wouldnt be a bad thing either. Just might be too much work.

I write everything in my journal :p

Instead of me writing out a big, long script that would figure out the spell names for you, you can change the name of the spell trigger release wand yourself.

Use the "Select" PC Tool feat on the completed spell trigger wand. Then use pc tool renameitem xxxxxx, and replace xxxxxx with the names of the three spells you have in the trigger.

This way, you can even use abbreviations or alternate spell names ("3 Booms" or "Eat fire, Crispy!" instead of "Fireball, Fireball, Fireball" for instance) for your own reference if you want to.

You should be able to do the same thing with your sequencer items. When empty, or when changing spells, just rename the item again. If you replace xxxxxx with nothing ("pc tool renameitem "), it gets renamed to it's default name that it started with.

That is damn neat.
