What exactly is aenea?

It is based on a PnP game, but that is better told via first hand experience.

Aenea is a persistent world based on the pencil and paper D&D gameworld I've created and used for many, many years. The name "Aenea" is just something I made up...it's relatively short, easy to say (pronounced "aye-nee-ah"), and it's spelled the same forward or backwards.

It's not really based on any existing worlds, so it's got things like an original pantheon of deities, some custom spells and items, some different monsters, and some custom lore.

I've also changed up a bunch of things in it just for Neverwinter Nights, since there are things that are going to be different between a real D&D game and a computerized version of the game.

There have been a lot of changes and additions from vanilla NWN, but nothing that you wouldn't be able to get used to after just a little while and some light website/forum browsing.

Aenea is a most awesome Neverwinter Nights persistent world with lots of custom content that is the most coolie for NWN anywhere!

If you've ever played Neverwinter Nights, this is a place that fixes a few things and enlarges the game to an interesting and unique-restyled one compared to the original.

And it's both solo-adventuring-friendly and roleplaying-friendly, occupied by players who are very nice and laid-back.
