Adventurer's Gathering

//Posted prominently on the notice board of the Sleeping Dragon is a fresh parchment bearing a message written in an ink that seems to shimmer with a faint blue glow. The message reads:

Hail and well met to all Aenean Adventurers!

As some of you may be aware, despite the seeming calm and peace that reigns in much of the land, there are dark and powerful forces at work in the shadows. Ancient demons, vampiric half-fiends, Liches, Dragons and others.

While the armies of our various kingdoms are more than sufficient to hold the borders against bandits, Orcs, or other mundane threats, we must recognize that they are simply not prepared to defend against some of the threats we face.

As such, I believe we must make ourselves ready. We must form an alliance and work in cooperation to bolster one another in order to create a force capable of averting the destruction or conquest of our beloved homeland from these extraordinary enemies.

If you agree, and would dedicate yourself to this cause, please meet me on the second floor of the sleeping dragon on the morrow. We will discuss the what, why, wherefore and how of safeguarding our future and that of our forebears.
