I finally remembered to try and stop by there finally with a PC that had some positive CHA, and was a bit disappointed to finally be allowed to see the inventory, but there was nothing special included of which I am aware.
Maybe adding a few unique pieces for his inventory might help business, especially as he is rather picky as to his chosen clients. Thanks!

It's kind of just a "secret" thing. If you've noticed, there are no "weapon shops" in Calithia. Legally, nobody is supposed to sell dangerous weapons (like swords) within the city walls.
Just one of those odd laws that exists on the books (from the PnP version of Calithia, where nobody is actually allowed to carry any blade, or obvious weapon, larger than a dagger).
Adding a couple of special or rare things would definitely be a good idea though.
