Strange or missing text in box when booted?
I'm really beginning to dislike Darkfist's Tunic no matter how precious the material might be, heh. I forget the help for this, anyone know?

I believe it had something to do with needing updated game files.
It might also be related to cd key/nwn account binding with 's custom scripting.

Hmm ... I'm not liking the Darkfist, either.

Re: Strange or missing text in box when booted?
The strange text should now be a thing of the past. I altered all of the scripts that boot players (I think I found them all, anyway) so that they search for a different .tlk file entry. For some reason the game engine wasn't reading the text from the aenea.tlk file, instead using the corresponding line from dialog.tlk.
I altered my copy of dialog.tlk, replacing several blank entries with the correct boot messages. I uploaded it to the Aenea files Vault page for those that want to have it. This should solve the problem of getting lines like "Darkfist's Tunic" or blank windows when booted from the game by a script (voice set change, character retirement, server reset, etc.). This changed file is optional, and only makes it so the correct text get's displayed after a character is booted. link
Once downloaded, make a backup copy of your NWN/dialog.tlk file (always a good idea to make backups), then decompress the newer file in it's place (in your NWN folder, not your NWN/tlk folder).
