Silverfist Doorguard kills trader after openeing the gate

As i wrote in the title. After the Guard of the Gate opened it for me, he attacked the Silverfist Trader in cold blood. The area is Valleynisia: The Northern Wall Mountains: Silverfist Territory. I wonder if they just had a personal conflict though   

Not sure what's going on there.  Maybe the guard mistook "trader" for "traitor".

There's been a lot of faction bugs last night...I know first hand the Macedonian guards was brutally slaughtering commoners and animals alike in the city. The Silverfist dwarf must have been hit with that bug as well.

The server was all buggy yesterday.  Faction issues, and vampire PCs not taking any sun damage at high noon on clear and sunny days.  Whatever the issue is, it may have also been responsible for other oddity bugs I came across.

It persisted across a reset too, which was odd.

I saw city guards killing poor little kitties.    Had to really overlook that, otherwise it would have come to blows with my cat-lover ranger.

I'd thought that domestic animals like dogs and cats were on the Commoner faction same as guards?  I've surmised that Rats are in the Vermin faction, so I can understand when the guards go wild over Vermin.  But how about domesticated animals, are they Commoners or another Animal faction?
