Hello friends,

It's good to see that Aenea is still alive and well. It's been almost a year since I last visited here, but it's always been in the back of my mind to do so once I could play regularly again. I've had the bookmark in my BM folder for three months now with the intent to rejoin you all when I had some time.

I acquired the Diamond Edition software and D/Led all the necessary files last night, using my old keys that were logged in the Bioware site under House Gorn (a great surprise and blessing, seeing as I no longer had my original NWN CD's/manual). I have no idea what characters reside on that account (I've been unable to access my other accounts).

A question: Has the server been down lately? I tried to "Direct Connect", as well as search all the various categories for Aenea, but was unable to connect/find it.

Well, it is simply good to find Aenea still exists and is progressing. WTG AD!

I don't know ya myself, but allow me to say, Welcome back! The server went down last nite, and it's looking like we might have to wait until gets back from vacation before we can get back in . But it is always good to see new or returning players! Hope to se ya in game soon!

Your most welcome, and as far as how long will be gone there is a thread in the ooc section of the boards here, where posted about his vacation. From what it says there he'll be returning right before the new year.

Before I started to play Aenea 6 months, I read many of your posts at the old forum (and your character profiles are displayed prominently on this site as well). I'm glad you're safe.


And, uhm, on another note, after consulting with , I played a character w/ the last name of Gorn. I hope that I didn't tarnish the House's reputation too much.

Good to see you again, friend! Yes, Aenea is alive and doing well - lots of growth going on here, both in content and playerbase!

In case you don't remember me, one of my PCs is Sta'stillen Thriceblind - we met in-game shortly before you had to leave. I'm glad to see you back, and hopefully the server issue will be resolved soon so you can rejoin the game! If not, I promise that Aenea is still worth the wait (and it's weight in gold)!

In any case, welcome back, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask anyone - it's a great playerbase we've got going on, friendly and all that! Hope to see you ingame soon!

Let me add my voice to S'vairs when I say that your posts and character bios, and even your testimonial on the main webpage were in large part a reason why I decided to come play here. I was dismayed to learn that you had to leave, and am very glad that you will be able to rejoin us!

It has been a long time since you played too!

Hopefully you'll be happy with the many things Amethyst has added, and the few things he's changed. And I hope you had a happy holiday season!

Whatever legend there is, I promise it's a lie, lol. I hardly played the Gorns, primarily just Jorn Kyros my wizard. He kind of took over my playing and House Gorn got pushed to the bottom of my play list. Unfortunately I closed my JK account when I left, which I admit was stupid (he was a 40!).

So as it is now, I created a new NWN account and am currently playing a character I had created on another server while waiting for Aenea to return over the holiday season. For now he shall remain a mystery!

BTW A.D., is there a way to recover Jorn? Would be nice to bank him for my new character.

If Jorn Kyros was retired, that character is unusable. Character xp that is banked via retirement is useable by another character on the same account.

If you just stopped using the account...you could get back into it if you were to use the same username and password to log into Aenea...I have not removed any character files.
