Not Used: Robe of eyes re-texture
Since we have a robe of eyes...with no eyes on it...extract the texture for teh cloak of eyes and apply the eye pattern to a new robe texture and install it. That way the robe of eyes has eyes all over it and one could make a cool cloak+robe eye appearance if players wanted to go that route
Robe of eyes re-texture
Take the eyes pattern on the cloak and apply it to an additional robe taken from one of the others re-textured. You could make a real robe of eyes with eyes and all.

Merged threads.
I've never retextured a robe before, so I'll have to learn how. If it doesn't add too much to the haks in size, this may get implemented in the future. Not sure how much it would add, but it would need a new robe model for every race and gender (and every phenotype/animation style of every race and gender).

Well...i tried to do it myself..sadly the program i used to use seems to have vanished off the vault. All thats really required is take one of the robes(prob the fancy wizzy one) extract the model and the texture....change the name and appearance number on the model file and add it to the 2da...then take the cloaks eye pattern/texture and simply copy/paste it over the primary robe area you want to have as the eyes pattern.
you will however need to ascertain which way is up on the texture so ya dont have sideways eyes and also put what color is what for when players color it. There is a very weak version of the program on the vault but its very very basic and doesnt allow copy and pasting.

Re: Not Used: Robe of eyes re-texture
What's the name of the program you used? Maybe I can track down a copy somewhere else.
Re: Not Used: Robe of eyes re-texture
honestly i dont remember the exact name...its been soooo long ago...you just need a program that can recognize the distinct color codes nwn uses ...cloth1 and 2...metal1 and 2 and leather1 and 2...that way you can make it so players can color it.
I just looked on the vault...the program i used was in the *other* category...and now that category has only 4 downloadable items in it...seems they cleaned house
Gimp might be able to do what that one did...but im not familiar enough with gimp to know.

That's the "recently updated" page for the 'other category'. Go to that page where you see just the 4 items, and click on the "full listings" link. There's some 50 pages worth of stuff in that category
