Is it possible to have the Quaterstaff treated as a two handed wepon?

Depends on which you mean. A standard quarterstaff is a large, and thus two handed, weapon. A magic staff, on the other hand, is actually medium and so only two handed for small races (though med. races can dual wield with a magic staff in one hand and another one handed weapon in the other). Unfortunately, due to some gaff on Bioware's part, quarterstaves can't be wielded as double weapons.

What I meant to be asking was

Can the Quaterstaff be used for Two Weapon Fighting?

ie for off hand attacks, as in the Dire Mace.
