One drawback of the shifter class, or druids who use their shapeshifting abilities to any degree is that while shifted, you can't use items such as the sacrificial flame, treasure splitter, bandages or the green PC Info crystal.

Perhaps a VC command could be added for shifters/druids to allow them to use those particular items while shifted, in particular the bandages and sacrificial flame? For shifters, not being able to clean up remains can be a pain, and with limited number of shift uses per rest period, the shifter PC has to decide whether to leave loads of remains laying around, or unshift, sac, and shift again, or with the bandages, it's a case of allow an ally or oneself to bleed, or go through a unshift/shift. Both bandages and sacrifical flame could use the select tool to 'target' a PC or remains for the command to know what to fire off on.

And this suggestion that seems rather reasonable makes me suddenly wonder: what the eff did I *do* before I got to Aenea and played on all those servers that didn't have a sacrificial flame equivalent? *shudder*

Bump to this suggestion...

Could the "jump" widget and "fly feather" be worked into this as well (since some shifter shapes do have wings (gargoyle, wrymlings, dragons, harpy)

The "pc select tool" is able to specify locations as well as select objects/people... so perhaps the VC command could check to see if the shifted druid/shifter/sorc/wiz/ect had the sac-flame or other requird objects in their inventory (or if their current shape has wings), and fire off the same script as the items when used with the "Select tool"

The jump and sacrificial flame would be the most useful to have usable with a VC command... sacrificial flame most of all, if nothing but for being able to "clean up" after a spawn without having to "deshift" out of a limited use/day shape.

Not particularly like the above suggestions, but some shifter love none the less...

Drow Shape/Epic Drow Shape and drider/epic drider shape: Gain the same benefits as drow/half drow in the temple (traps no zap, the denizen's are friendly)

Demonflesh Golem shape, outsider shapes (rakasha, azer, death slaad): No "dark realm drain" while in the darkrealms and in those forms ala demonspawn.

Vampire form (undeadshape)... ouch ouch, that sun burns! Burn in sunlight like vampire PCs. Gain the negative damage immunity as well to compensate for the extra penalty

Lizard whipmaster: Swap it's appearance for the same appearance other lizardfolk in Aenea have (it still uses the old big fugly dinosaur looking model.... BTW, the new minotaur appearance rocks!)

Mindflayer form: Perhaps having the illithid (but not the great brain) neutral to shifters in this form. Also, the shifter psionic blast, perhaps it could be tweaked to match what the other mindflayers do with their blasts?

Manticore: There's an updated manticore model in the CEP which looks MUCH better than the default bioware model. Could this shape (and the baddies around in game as well) get this new appearance? The default model looks more like an overgrown, mangey alley cat, the CEP version looks downright monsterous like manticores should

as a point of note....the models that do have wings. Nearly 90% of them wont have flapping wing animations. I wanted to make a werebat for my local play and put that fly script in...and he just move stifflike with no animations.

Some of them look like they're flying already (gargoyle, harpy, wyrmlings) so they would really just need the point-to-point part of the script.
