As it is right now, Dead Man's march summons whatever undead that are summoned per the effects in the description, but they also disappear as soon as no more enemies are around. Might we change it to make it last the entire song or until killed, even if there are no more enemies within range?

Also is there a way to make all of the creatures summoned be under the bard's control? When you have two or more, if the one (s) not grouped with you kill something, you get no XP.

The extra monster is a bit of a glitch with the song. On the levels where you are able to summon 2 of a certain type of undead, you'll get 3, two under your control, that extra one not.

I'm only getting 2 (the song that brings 2 zombies, low level one) 1 under my control and 1 not, though the song says I should be getting 2

hrmm, that's odd O_o

But as for the suggestion, I think it's a good one. I found previously as well that the summoned critters had rather poor perception and would poof even if there were still baddies nearby. I *think* The Amethyst Dragon tweaked them a bit (before the current bustication issue), but I can't recall, and can't find that particular thread. The only bonus from them staying around until they're done with combat is that with a prolonged fight, you could possibly summon up more undead once your initial song has ended... but I'd rather have the dependable duration than a variable duration in the long run.
