Um, is it me or...
Shouldn't people who choose the subrace Triton or Sea-elf be able to move underwater without penalty?
After all, but are races that have their entire civilizations... underwater.
They economy exists primarily... underwater.
They farm their livestock and what few plants they use, underwater.
Their armors and weapons, in the majority, are only effective in combat, underwater.
So... their currency is mainly in glass, pearls, bones, and other tokens.
The literally use denizens of the ocean, some as food, some transport, others pack animals, and domesticate them.
They garden at certain regions where the ocean consists of large amounts of kelp, seaweed, and corals.
Their armor can fall under these categories, light and heavy, but incur horrific penalties when worn on the land.
Bow and slings can't be used underwater, and most crossbow work with penalties to aim and damage, but clockwork crossbows function fine. As well, certain other grenade-like weapons function only underwater, and become useless globs when on the land.
They live primarily in the water and their ability to swim with a plus 10-20 bonus should reflect they are not hindered underwater, but enhanced! Likewise it would be nice if there was specific equipment for them, based on their societies, as well as weapons that function only underwater, as we know bows, slings, and grenades used on land dont work there.
PS: I haven't tested this for awhile, but has drown bugs for all circumstances been fixed... it would suck to die breathing water... when you mostly breath... water... that and you breath out of your neck in your gills, so its not like your lungs are exploding...

Likewise, the aquatic armor (forget it's exact name, it's a medium armor though), it's description says that the wearer can move and breathe as easily underwater as on dry land. The breathing part works, but not the moving around part.
