Temples & Altars
Is there a known list of where these important places are for each of the gods?
Being new here means that while Aargyle has dedicated several remains of goblins and other foes to his goddess of Luck, he has no idea where an altar to her is located. Or is it assumed that all of the newcomers are offworlders, and such info must be gathered in game?
Also, is it acceptable to pray at the altars of gods besides your patron? I already have a few times, to say a quick "Thanks for raising me" at the Temple of Life, to "How about watching over my next walkabout without me seeing death again, eh?" to the various altars to the god of Travels. But I did not know if the gods were open to such polytheistic praise, or wanted the limelight for themselves....
Thanks for creating such a unique world!

Re: Temples & Altars
No harm is giving a nod to the other gods. No benefit either from a game mechanics standpoint either
As for altar locations, mostly we all go out and find them in our explorations. A couple of towns have a large concentration of temples though. Tradeholm has many altars, and Macedone, which is mentioned in one of the loading screen tips (in specific, the one about going to the temple of Lysis in Macedone if you have a cursed item you want to be rid of).

Re: Temples & Altars
In Aenea, most of the gods generally get at least a little prayer from people they are not patrons of. Even one of the three evil gods, Harcorth, gets prayers on a regular basis from those that follow other gods and paths (he's the god of the seas, and people pray to him before, during, and after sea voyages).
Locations for altars vary. Gort's are probably the most common, since people will set them up along roads. Ragnor's are probably the most rare and difficult to find (since he's very evil and his followers generally aren't that interested in being constructive).
Oh, and welcome to Aenea!

Re: Temples & Altars
Here's my two cents: Welcome to Aenea! We've got a dedicated playerbase composed of just about the nicest people you'd ever want to meet online/ingame! Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask, either here or in the game - most folks will try to help!
Happy exploring!
