Hi Everyone!

Hi guys and gals. I'm KangTheMad. I'm an experienced RPer, and I am debating leaving my current PW, World of Caenyr. Actually, I know i'm leaving, the question is, when? Oh, don't ever go there. It has become a bad place, where people are promoted over better and more reasonable choices. Anyways, enough with that. IRL, I am 16 and a guy. I have made numerous PCs at Caenyr, all of them interesting in their own way. I saw that Aenea thread in the Bioware Ye Olde Tavern section and it attracted me. I don't know if I will be joining, as one of the people who used to play there has an idea, but has yet to get back to me. Anyhow, I shall now traverse this convulted forum (no offense, but it needs work) to learn as much as possible. I will be back to here with questions and I should be posting in the Suggestions section as well. I love casters btw, so my first char will probably be a sorc/bard/RDD.

Alrighty ho. That was quick. Ok, a couple questions here, since everyone will be gravitating here first.

How old is Aenea?
Where the heck can I find information about the playble subraces?
Dieties? Are they played by DMs? Or are they just "there"?
Can I change the forum skin for myself???
PCs can have houses, is this an IG, set thing, or can you make your own in the toolset?
How much do they cost?
Factions/Kingdoms?

As far as a know...

Aenea was started in July 2006... as for the age of the actual world,
I believe it is around the year 5700...
Info on the playable subraces can be found on the website under
Rules and Info > Subraces
Dieties are "just there", played by DM's when they feel like it, feature
heavily in death xp and record your "piety" for various extra favours
and bonuses..
And the forum skin can't be changed to my knowledge....

PS I'm just a Player, my responses may be wrong, but I've been around Aenea for a long time...

Dye is around, yep, and custom gear can be acquired by player reward chests. I do belive it's at the 8 hour mark there is a 20k voucher in the chest ( and the value of the vouchers goes up from there at 16, 32, 64 hours and so on, so ya can add to a current custom or make new ones). You can make a custom item up to the total voucher value. Here be the thread for custom item vouchers

Nope. It's set up to work with the look of the main website.

You make your own in the toolset. Cost is 500,000 gp.

Factions/Kingdoms?
There are not separate PC factions/aligned kingdoms. PCs can role-play specific allegiances if they wish.

Custom gear can be added to the game via earning a player reward voucher (based on time played with a single character). Also, you can customize most clothing/armor in large towns at a "self service seamstress shop" if you have 3 base ranks in Craft Armor. Dyes come in two types...basic dye pots, and a magical dye pot (the magical one works on armor, helms, and cloaks, and never runs out).

You end up with the red dragon wings as your dragon side takes over that part of your body. Oh, and since this isn't the Forgotten Realms, a winged elf is just a winged elf (there aren't any "avariel"). And cloaks will not hide your wings (I've changed cloaks to show wings)...wings are bigger here and don't fit well under cloaks.
