Hello, everyone!

Well, I'm new here, so I thought I should pop in to say hello and introduce myself to this lovely little community.

I paid my first visit to Aenea last night and poked around for a couple of hours, and I must say I was very impressed. I've never played on a PW before (unless you count Diablo 2 on Battle.net aeons ago, but people were hardly cooperative or social over there), so wasn't quite sure what to expect, but as soon as my character, Laeryn, appeared in the Inn, she was greeted with nothing but friendliness and a sense of welcome. (Laeryn is a bit of a loner--all those years spent wandering about in the forest, I suppose--and might appear to be a little anti-social, but once she gets used to people, she's really rather friendly!) So hello, thanks to everyone for being so nice!

I'm still getting my bearings and learning how to do things, so apologies in advance if I come across as a dithering idiot or forget to return your greeting or accidentally bump into you and cause you to spill your pint of ale all over your beautiful new wizard robe (that'll come out in the wash, right?).

Oh, and I'm not trying to step on The Amethyst Dragon's toes or anything with my screen name. Amethyst is actually my name, and makes for an easy-to-remember screen name. Also, I just happen to like it.
